You can call be FISH/FISHHEAD or anything you like...
I'm a 25-year-old guy from Taiwan. Like many, I explored different paths to find my future, including extensive travel and working in various industries. My journey began at 17 as a hospital cleaner, which funded my first solo cycling trip around Taiwan. University life introduced me to new experiences, like joining a bicycle repair club and teaching repair skills in remote areas.
Here is where the epic began
My journey began at 17 as a hospital cleaner, which funded my first solo cycling trip around Taiwan. University life introduced me to new experiences, like joining a bicycle repair club and teaching repair skills in remote areas.
At 19, a twist of fate led me to the construction industry. I worked as a truck and excavator driver. This job revealed my knack for operating machinery. During that summer, I even worked at sea as a sailor, occasionally rescuing tourists adrift in international waters.
The ongoing story
Starting at 20, dissatisfied with my current situation, I interned at a motorcycle shop. There, I thoroughly learned mechanical principles and brought these skills back to the bicycle repair club, leading to its reform.
From then on, we incorporated more woodworking, welding, and other industrial techniques, turning it into a platform for the exchange of industrial knowledge.
A soldier, and also a firefighter
After graduating, due to nationality reasons, I served in the military for nearly half a year. My role was in firefighting, driving ambulances to rescue critically injured patients in civilian life. There, I learned many first-aid skills and handled real-life emergency cases with ease.
Travel, and more travel!
At 21, I traveled around Taiwan again, this time hitchhiking. Since then, I've fallen deeply in love with backpacking. I hope to understand the world through this method and help those in need.
After leaving first aid, I went to Australia to pursue what I love most: traveling.
I applied for a Working Holiday visa(WHV 417), made a camper van, and lived in it for nearly half a year. I successfully merged travel with work, becoming a writer and YouTuber.
From a call, flight to the other side of world
After nearly a year in Australia, I received a call from an American screenwriter inviting me to participate in the production of a movie in the U.S. It was my first foray into the film industry. I fell in love with that lifestyle and, upon returning home, diligently learned photography and post-production skills.
Now? and future...
Currently, I'm looking to join or create a multinational microfilm team to capture untold stories worldwide.
I believe in learning through doing and am open to collaboration with anyone willing to try, regardless of their experience or resources.
My journey shows that with effort and openness, we can achieve meaningful connections and work.
